Disk Wipe

Design Notes, Known Problems and Limitations

Design Notes

This implementation of Disk Wipe will function on both LINUX, UNIX and Windows XP and VISTA operating environments.   Disk Wipe will remove any intermediate files that it may build.

General Limitations
DiskWipe will operate on the hard disk or memory stick from which its executable has been invoked.

Known Problems
None reported at this time.

Please Note

DiskWipe or any cleaning facility that writes temporary files may cause other active tasks that voluntarily yield their disk space to do so, as the disk volume becomes filled.  Inactivate any such tasks prior to using any cleaning facility.
