Pre-Product Installation Procedure

Obtain a no-charge standard version of the product from us in the following way:
(See the Post-Installation procedure for the licensed professional copy)

Perform a direct download of the VMARC file from our FTP Site.

Download the product using your browser to either your LINUX, Windows or Apple computer. The downloaded file will be in VM Archive (VMARC) format.

(The VMARC utility and its HELP files are available at no charge from IBM's website)



Start the download by selecting a program product:

LDEVMLTS for zVM (all releases) Multiple Logical Terminal Session Manager

VMRSMZ for zVM v5.3 (deprecated)

VMRSMZ for zVM v5.4

STDTOO54.VMARC (all releases, uses old Global Variables) zVM Automation Management

VMRSMZ for zVM v6.2 (deprecated)

VMRSMZ for zVM v6.3 (deprecated)

VMRSMZ for zVM v6.4 (deprecated)

VMRSMZ for zVM v7.1 Virtual Machine Resource System Monitor

STDTOOLS.VMARC (v7.x uses new System Variables) zVM Automation Management

You can perform a direct download of the professional PROTOOLS.VMARC file version from our licensed secured FTP Site that will be provided upon signed agreement. (only for zVM 7.1 and 7.2)

This will download the VM archive file:

product_name.VMARC

Next, follow the General Installation Procedure which will guide you to transfer the file to your CMS userid, then unpack the product files.
